Cinema on a Plate is an original concept which combines cinema with gastronomy.

Every Monday from 23 February to 13 April 2009 cinema-goers will have the opportunity to enjoy eight outstanding films on offer at five cinemas in the centre of Athens.

The films will be introduced by well-known film critics and personalities from the arts world. After each screening top chefs will take on the task of translating the atmosphere of the film into taste, bringing a new dimension to the pleasure of cinema-going while at the same time broadening the limits of culinary delight.

We are pleased to support this innovative initiative with the Greek premiere of the British film The Edge of Love, directed by John Maybury and starring Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller and Cillian Murphy. The film is about the passion and pathos of legendary poet Dylan Thomas as told through the lives of two extraordinary women.
