We are delighted to present a tribute to the internationally acclaimed British animator Joanna Quinn in the framework of the 4th Athens Animfest, organised by the European Animation Centre. A retrospective of Quinn's work will be presented at the festival and will include screenings of her two Oscar-nominated films Famous Fred (1996) and The Wife of Bath (1998), her short political masterpiece Britannia (1993) and her most recent work Dreams and Desires – Family Ties (2006), which has already won over 40 major international awards. Quinn made her debut with the film Girls Night Out (1986), a vivid and often raucous exploration of the issues of woman’s identity. The full festival programme will soon be available at:
