We try to ensure that our commitment to equal opportunity and diversity is reflected in our events and activities. This page gives examples of projects, programmes and other initiatives that have a strong diversity theme and/or successfully demonstrate our commitment to this important aspect of our work.
DV8 Physical Theatre: Can we talk about this?
Can we talk about this? examines issues around multiculturalism and freedom of speech. Persistent in the need for expanding dance borders and activating the critical ability of the audience, DV8 wonder whether today’s western liberal societies are respectful towards minority groups and especially towards muslim communities.

Emotion Pictures, an International Documentary Film Festival on the theme of disability, aims to use documentary as a medium to bring to prominence the concerns of artists from all over the world on disability issues, and to encourage public debate using the common language of art as the starting point.

Inside Out
Organised by the British Council in collaboration with the Hellenic Migration Policy Institute and the Arts Centre at ACS, Inside Out – Exploring Arts for Social Inclusion was a creative and inspirational two-day event focusing on how the arts can be successfully integrated into education and social development programmes involving refugees, asylum seekers, migrants and ethnic minority communities.
