To download the resource, right-click on this link (please note that this is a big file): Download Rhyme and Record (16.1MB)
Choose 'Save target as', and choose where you want to save the file. If you're a using a Mac, double-click on the link and use the on-screen window to choose where you want to save the file.
Rhyme and Record is a zipped file. Extract the files and you will find a folder called 'RR'. You will see 15 flash files, for example:

Click on one of them, for example 'RR_Acker Backer Soda Cracker', and you will see this:

You will now see the text of a rhyme, and also four buttons. Click on the buttons for the following:
If you click on this button you will hear an adult saying the rhyme.
If you click on this button you will hear an adult saying the rhyme but some of the sounds are missing. Can you and your child fill in the gaps?
If you click on this button you will hear an adult and a child saying the rhyme.
If you click on this button you will be able to record yourselves saying the rhyme. Please note that this function is not available if you are using a Mac, or if you are using Windows Vista. If you click on the 'Help' button of Rhyme and Record you will find instructions for how to record rhymes.
