Our aim is to help you keep up to date with global ELT news and local events organised by the British Council. Find links to useful websites and articles, online teaching resources, and details of events and training opportunities in Greece.

Positive Psychology is a new movement which emphasises mental health - what do happy people do? ELT and the Science of Happiness provides practical and short activities to help you and your students incorporate positive psychology into English language learning. Go for happiness!
 Fancy a little quiz?
The quiz section on the Teaching English website offers a wide range of quizzes to help you add a bit of fun and a challenge to your classes. There are grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and topic-based quizzes, which you can download and print. Nice and easy!

 Wikis in plain English
Wikis are free online writing spaces used for collaborative writing. The changes in the text are kept and can be re-edited until everyone writing the wiki is happy - lots of editing and negotiating skills practice! Watch the Wikis in plain English video and read an article about wikis.
