Our Introduction
Governance and Reform- The Issues

The big questions of governance are centred on achieving social change and ensuring voice and accountability for those marginalised from society. Underpinning these issues is the need to build trust and understanding between communities, faiths, nations and cultures and the state and addressing the increasing global challenges of economic and sustainable growth, unemployment and climate change.

How We Work

The work we do focusses on cultural relations and the combination of governance and cultural relations offers a powerful mechanism for change and a vehicle for engaging communities internationally, creating space and reason for debate and dialogues and building the social capital and civic engagement necessary to bring about change for the better. Through the exchange of ideas and knowledge we develop long term partnerships and co-operation for the UK with governments, civil society and the private sector to share common goals, good practice and experiences, and promote the understanding of difference and diversity. Our work connects local issues to the global themes and complex challenges that we face as a world community.
