The British Council in Vietnam has developed a strong partnership with key institutions involved in the reform of public administration. This activity enabled the Council to work closely with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ho Chi Minh Political Academy and the National Institute of Public Administration. They have helped develop dialogue between Vietnamese institutions and key UK and international specialists in aspects of public sector reform and economic management. The exchange of know-how, expertise and ideas has been assisted by facilitating dialogue with key UK institutions focusing on aspects of public service delivery, the UK government's modernisation programme, the executive agency model and training and human resource development.
