Jo Clough is currently International Director with the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), established by the government in 2008 as the result of a merger between two highly successful national sector bodies – the Centre for Excellence in Leadership (CEL) and the Quality Improvement Agency. For the previous three years Jo had held a similar role with CEL.
Prior to joining CEL, Jo had been with the Association of Colleges first as West Midlands Regional Director, before moving on to become International Director at the London head office.
Jo has worked extensively across the world and is a passionate advocate of international education, particularly those activities that encourage sharing of best practice and mutual learning between nations. As one of the founder partners, Jo has project managed the Rawabit UK/Iraq TVET Initiative since its inception in 2004.
