Craig Whittaker is a lecturer and researcher with over twenty years experience of teaching intercultural communication at universities in the USA, UK and The Netherlands. Having earned degrees in Communication (BA and MA), Business Administration (MBA) and Education (M.Ed.), Craig is currently conducting research into the Erasmus programme as part of an ESRC sponsored PhD at the University of Bristol. Involvement with international students during his teaching in The Netherlands led Craig to develop an interest in the motivation and experiences of Erasmus students with the goal of joining an international organisation and helping to promote internationalisation. The research is scheduled for completion by mid 2010.
