Chiao Ling Chien is a researcher and data analyst in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Institute for Statistics (UIS). She is responsible for analyzing the trends of tertiary education enrolment, graduates and international students in 208 Member States. Chiao Ling Chien co-authored a UNESCO report Cross-Border Student Mobility: Changing Global Landscape (in press). She is also a doctoral candidate in the Higher Education programme at University of Minnesota. Her research interests focus on international higher education, enrolment, educational finance and economics of higher education.
