Steve Woodfield
Senior Researcher, Higher Education, Kingston University, UK

Steve Woodfield is a Senior Researcher in Higher Education at Kingston University, a position he has held since July 2007. Prior to this he was a Research Fellow in the Centre for Policy and Change in Tertiary Education at the University of Surrey. During his career he has undertaken research on international education for a range of organisations, including the Commonwealth of Leaning, UNESCO, Universities UK, and the Higher Education Academy. He has also been involved in institutional research activities for Kingston University, and consultancy activities for other higher education institutions related to internationalisation in higher education.

His current research focuses on internationalisation in higher education, and leadership and management of UK higher education. Within internationalisation in higher education, his research focuses on cross-border education, quality assurance, international strategy development, and measuring institutional internationalisation.

Steve participated in sessions 2d - Opportunity or cost: students and international experience and 3f - Open forum: partnership and collaboration.
