Improving outbound UK student mobilityMark has over 15 years experience in face-to-face marketing. He has held a number of senior positions in the international exhibitions industry in Russia, the CIS, Turkey and Central and Eastern Europe, specialising in the launch and general management of new exhibitions and conferences. Mark established the congress division of marcus evans, one of the world’s largest business intelligence companies. In 2005 he was approached to organise an international education fair in the UK. While researching this possibility he developed a wide range of marketing initiatives to increase British outbound student mobility through awareness-raising measures. As a result he co-founded A Star Future Ltd in early 2006.
Mark received a BA (Hons) in Economics and Management Studies from the University of Leeds. After he finished studying he spent three years studying and working in Berlin. He is a passionate believer in the benefits of international experience. Mark is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the North East Chamber of Commerce NewcastleGateshead board.
