A Global Dimension in Partnership
Increasing the global dimension in the curriculum through a global school partnership

How can a global school partnership enhance teaching and learning?

This one-day workshop explores the meaning of a global dimension and considers the opportunities that arise within a school partnership to take this forward.  The workshop is for staff who wish to develop a global dimension through joint curricular work with colleagues in partner schools.

The workshop explores:

  • the meaning of a global dimension
  • the curricular work that schools attending the workshop are already doing
  • collaborative curriculum development
  • connections between partner countries and the lives of learners in partner countries
  • ways of challenging and extending learners’ views of the world
  • exploring controversial and sensitive issues in partnerships
