Each year the British Government offers a number of scholarships to citizens of other countries for postgraduate study within specified disciplines at British academic institutions.
The programme in Ghana is supervised by the British High Commission and managed by British Council on their behalf. Selection is by open competition, against rigorous criteria of academic excellence and leadership potential. Competition is fierce and world-wide, only the top 5 percent of applicants receive awards.
The Chevening Scholarship Programme is a prestigious awards scheme that funds international postgraduate students who want to study in the UK. You will also need an upper second class degree or higher.
You must not be over 35 years old and must be a resident in Ghana when you apply.
