Are you looking to develop your career though a professional qualification? Do you work in marketing? Or would you like to widen your prospects with a marketing qualification? Then we can help you study for and take an exam with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

What is the Chartered Institute of Marketing?
The Chartered Institute of Marketing is an internationally-renowned organisation offering business qualifications that are recognised worldwide.

How can I get a CIM qualification
Before you can take a CIM exam, you will need to become a CIM member. Here's how you can join the CIM at our Kumasi or Accra centres.

1. Download the appropriate CIM form(s) and complete them (remember to add an address so that CIM can contact you.

2. Telephone one of our centres to find out the daily exchange rate so you know how much to pay in cedis.

3. You will then need to visit our centre in Accra or Kumasi with the following:

proof of exam results or evidence of work experience (these can be photocopies of your A-level or SSSCE result slips, certificates of your higher or professional qualifications or a letter from an employer)
the cedi equivalent of the membership fee.
4. Once we have collected your forms and fees for CIM membership and sent them on, CIM will contact you, confirming your membership. If you have not heard directly from CIM within six weeks of the closing date of registration, you can contact CIM directly by e-mail or fax (0044 1628 427499).

5. Once you are a CIM member, you can register for any of the CIM exams.

Membership Registration ongoing. Monday 7th January – Friday 8th February 2008.

Professional Certificate: £85 - GHC 170.
Professional Diploma: £ 125 - GHC 250 (including exemption fees).
Professional Postgraduate Diploma: – GHC 330 (including exemption fees).
Membership Renewal: £85 - GHC 170.

NB: No entries will be accepted after Friday 8th February 2008
No local charges will be charged from candidates who do not register with the British Council.
