How to register for City & Guilds exams
Simple steps to a brighter future
Registering for a City and Guilds exam is easy. You can register for and take your exam, at either our Accra or Kumasi centre. You will be able to take the City and Guilds exam during May, June, November and December.
Before visiting our office to register, you need to decide which subjects you are interested in. For more detailed on the subjects, you can visit the City & Guilds website.
You will need to download an application form from this website, which you should fill in using black or blue ink. You can also visit one of our centres for this form.

You will then need to visit our centre in Accra or Kumasi on the same day, with the following:

your course fees, in cedi equivalent, paid as a bankers' draft to 'British Council'
proof of your identity, such as a passport or your national ID
one recent passport picture of yourself.

Once you have registered, you will be able to take your exam during one of our exam periods (depending on when you registered). To help you prepare for your exam, we can provide you with sample question papers. Please contact our exam staff for more details. Results will be sent to us from City & Guilds International UK 2 (two) months after you have taken your exam. We will then contact you to collect them.
