Examinations are held globally during the 3rd week of May and of November each year. These simple steps will see you through your registration.
1. Make sure you have paid any outstanding fees you owe to CIPS before you proceed with registration.
2. Download and complete the exams enrolment form from the CIPS website or pick up a hardcopy from our Accra or Kumasi office.
3. Check from this page or call any of our offices for the cedi-equivalent of the registration fees.
4. Submit your completed application form to our Accra or Kumasi office with the following:
a. cedi equivalent of the exams fees (plus any outstanding bill you owe CIPS) in the form of a bank draft or corporate cheque made payable to 'British Council'.
b. Your CIPS ID Card, and/or the CIPS invoice indicating the amount owed.
If you register for your exams through the British Council and you do not hear from CIPS 2 (two) weeks to the examinations, please contact our exam staff. Proof of identity (CIPS ID card or notification letter plus a national ID card – passport or voters ID) must be provided before you can be allowed into the exams hall.
Examination results are issued during the first 10 (ten) days of August and February and appropriate certificates and diplomas are issued within the following 8 (eight) weeks. Results are also posted on the CIPS website. Due to the nature of the examinations, on demand examination results are not placed on the CIPS website but will be sent directly to the student within 6-8 weeks of the examination.
