Helping you make a decision.

How much does it cost?
The exam fee is £42 per module*, payable in cedis by bankers’ draft made to 'British Council'. This amount is non-refundable once registration has been processed and an access token generated for the candidate to take the test.
* - Please call us for the exchange rate when you are ready to make payment.

What are the procedures?
You should be registered with CIMA as a student member. Find details on how to become a student member. Recently registered CIMA students should wait at least 72 hours after their registration has been confirmed before taking the CBA assessment.

To sit for the CBA assessment at the British Council, you have to provide the following, at least 3 days to the date you intend to take the exam :
    1. CIMA contact ID and date of birth
    2. The bankers' draft

This will enable us to process your registration for the exams and ensure all your details are available in the CIMA database to enable you take the exam.

Before the examination
Before you come for the assessment, familiarise yourself with the CBA software by using the online demo. You may also find it useful to download past objective test questions from the paper based exams for exam practice. You can access these from the Study Resources area of the CIMA website.

During the assessment
    - Move from question to question by clicking on the 'next' or 'previous' buttons.
    - A drop down list of questions on the left side of the screen can be accessed by clicking on 'status'.
    - Jump from question to question simply by clicking on the question number.
    - Click on 'finish' to terminate the assessment or you will be timed out.
    - The final result and feedback on performance in the subject areas will appear on screen.

There is an option to 'Print results' for you to take away. Please ask the exams administrator to print this if you want it. There is no extra fee for requesting a one-page printout of your results.

After the assessment
You do not need to forward copies of your results or certificates to CIMA after taking the CBA. Students should only contact CIMA if results have not appeared on their records 1 (one) week after British Council has uploaded the result to the administration website.
