If you want to develop your English skills, we can help you, whatever your level, and whatever your reason. Which exam?

The Preliminary English Test (PET) is an intermediate-level exam. It shows that you have the language skills to cope in an English-speaking environment. PET covers the four language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. These are tested in three papers: reading/writing, listening, and speaking. Find out more

The First Certificate Examination (FCE) is an upper-intermediate-level exam. It shows that you can use English in a wide range of situations. Employers throughout the world recognise FCE. It is also recognised by Universities in many countries. FCE covers the four language skills - reading, writing, listening and speaking – and there is a separate paper for each skill, plus one for Use of English. Find out more

The Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) is an advanced exam. It shows that you have advanced language skills. Universities and employers throughout the world recognise CAE as proof that you can study or work in English. The Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) is a very advanced exam. It shows that you have achieved real mastery of the language. Universities and employers throughout the world recognise CPE as proof that you can study and work in English at the highest level. BEC - Business English Certificates
The Business English Certificates are a suite of three examinations - BEC Preliminary, BEC Vantage, BEC Higher - designed to test English language ability used in the context of business. They are suitable for adults (aged 16 and over) who are either preparing for a career in business or already in work.
