Me and the British Council
It was the British Council who made it possible for me to take the Integrated Environmental Management course in the University of Bath this year.
As a recent graduate from the Institute of Ecology based in Tbilisi, I really lacked deep knowledge of best international practices and technologies in the environmental management, eco-audit, certification and other important mechanisms and tools.
IEM core module tutors sent me excellent quality published materials and audiocassettes, various links and papers and also provided me with constant online support in case any problems arose. I also received a list of all distance-learning students that can be a basis for international cooperation with motivated young professionals worldwide. I will be also happy to meet Georgians, interested in environmental management!
I would like to use this chance to thank the British Council for their support to me, especially their kind and friendly staff in the office, always helpful and well disposed to all students and guests. Wish you good luck in all your undertakings!
