We are currently running IELTS tests in five locations across France: Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Lille and Nantes.

All registrations are centralised in British Council in Paris.

You can take IELTS tests at various dates throughout the year in those five locations. Details of the exact location of the test (address) as well as the timetable will be provided in your notification letter.

The IELTS tests in France are the 'Pen and paper' version.

Please note that if you take the test in Paris, the written tests take place on the dates below. The speaking tests are held on Saturday afternoons or during the week before the test date. Please make sure to be available when you choose your date.

If there are a minimum number of students who wish to take the IELTS test we may be able to administer the test in your institution. For more details, please contact us at ielts@britishcouncil.fr
