Au-pair work in the UK

An experience as an au pair with a British family can be a great way to improve your English, whilst discovering a different professional environment and British culture.

‘Au-pairs’ are young people who are usually unmarried and without dependants, between 17-27 years old, who come to the UK to learn English and live with a British family, whom they help out with childcare and sometimes domestic work.

You can use the short list of links below to help you find au-pair work. Please note that these organisations are not accredited or recommended by the British Council.
