The British Council supports cultural relations between the UK and France, promoting the exchange of knowledge and ideas and the development of professional relationships

The Director of British Council France is Chris Hickey (see photo on the left).

Chris Hickey has been the British Council’s country director in France since September 2009. He has wide experience of the British Council’s work in Western Europe, having previously worked as director in Spain (2003-2009) and Greece (2000-2003).

Please note the British Council in France will be closed from 23 December to 1st January.
