WHAT IS THIS FESTIVAL ABOUT?

This event stages a week-long presentation of artistic works involving the integration of free and open source software in the world of digital arts.

The second edition of Make Art will take place in Poitiers (France),

WHAT DOES THE FESTIVAL FEATURE?

Make Art offers performances, exhibitions, lectures and workshops, focused on the blurred line between art and software programming and web design. The event is dedicated to artists who create their own tools, and apply the same rules to art as to free software development.

Participating British artists :  Derek Hales, Metabiosis, Enrique Hurtado Mendiera de Digital Research Unit/Huddersfield), Simon Yuill (Spring Alpha/Glasgow), Cracktux, ClaudiusMaximus (Open Lab/Londres), Martin Howse & Jonathan Kemp (ap/London).
