DINARD BRITISH FILM FESTIVAL
This is the most well known and popular British film festival in France.
This year the 18th edition of the Dinard British Film Festival will screen 40 films over a 4 day period to audiences totalling some 20 000.
The festival is a unique showcase for British cinema in France and is attended by many actors, directors and producers who come to introduce their films in person.
Included in the 2007 line up are six new films in competition for the Golden Hitchcock awarded by a jury presided by French actress Josiane Balasko, a number of previews of new British productions including ‘Brick Lane’ de Sarah Gavron, ‘Becoming Jane’ de Julian Jarrold, ‘Hallam Foe’ de David Mackenzie and for the festival’s opening gala Ken Loach’s latest film ‘It’s a Free World’.
