LYON BIENNALE

Organised in the form of a game, some fifty ‘players’ from all over the world have designated specific artists with the aim of creating together a history book of essays, critical appreciations, and works of art presenting their view of the contemporary art scene and defining the specific place of the artist in this new landscape.

To represent the UK the players have chosen British artists Charles Avery, Ryan Gander, Hilary Lloyd, Nathaniel Mellors, Tino Sehgal and Simon Starling.
