We have collaborated with The Climate Group and openDemocracy to create elements of the ZeroCarbonCity campaign.
We worked with The Climate Group to create the NorthSouthEastWest exhibition, in addition to the accompanying book, catalogue and flyer. For this exhibition, ten Magnum photographers were commissioned to capture images from ten diverse regions around the world to illustrate the impacts and solutions to climate change.
In partnership with openDemocracy, we created an online global debate around the politics of climate change. Launched in April 2005, the debate ran until 10 June 2005, ahead of the G8 summit in Gleneagles, Scotland on 6 July. People from around the world were encouraged to discuss technological solutions; global governance; justice; and the politics of global warming.
The debate was supported with 25 articles written by scientists, technologists, city planners, policy makers and other public figures. It gave the public an opportunity to join the global discussion. The content has been archived on the site and will be available for use throughout the ZeroCarbonCity campaign. A summary report of the debate will be published late summer 2005.
