There are now blogs covering almost every subject under the sun, and science is well represented in the blogosphere. Blogs provide a personal perspective on a range of science issues. Here we’ve collected a few blogs which range from brief updates on science news stories, to more in-depth discussions of specific scientific topics.

New Scientist Short Sharp Science Blog
A science news blog with entries from New Scientist editors and contributors. It also has links to more in-depth, subject specific blogs.

Bad Science
This blog contains the weekly Bad Science column from the Guardian, by Dr. Ben Goldacre. It generally focuses on scientific inaccuracy and misrepresentations of science in the media.

New outlooks in science & engineering (NOISE)
A UK campaign funded by the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) aimed at 14-19 year olds. The website features a 'NOISEmaker's' blogs section - NOISEmakers are people who work in science and engineering jobs across the UK.

A blog from UK science writer David Bradley, which is aimed at everyone who has an interest in chemistry, physics, biomedical research and other natural and physical sciences.
