Pets at the Animal Shelter
A short story
There are lots of animals at the animal shelter. The Good family wants to adopt an animal to take home and look after. Which animal will they adopt? Read the story and find out!

WANT SOMETHING TO DO NOW?

Different pets need different things. For example, cats need
* cat food and clean water every day
* a soft, warm place to sleep
* exercise -it's better if they can go outside when they want
* somewhere to scratch
* injections once a year
* treatment for worms and fleas

Think of an animal. What would it need if you had it for a pet? Look at the RSPCA's website for help.

Imagine you work at the animal shelter, and a family has come for advice about looking after the animal you chose. Design a leaflet that you could give them.
