Connecting Classrooms in China 2011-12 Programmes Launched

The 2010-11 academic year has seen 24 areas in China and their counterparts in the UK benefiting from Connecting Classrooms funding, which has enabled them to deepen their partnerships through various quality and meaningful engagements with each other. The 2011-12 seed fund is open for applications from today:

•       More UK headteachers will be able to join a big group visiting China this autumn to embark on partnership journeys with Chinese schools. The visit will be sponsored by the British Council in collaboration with Chinese Language Council International (Hanban). Details of recruitment information can be found here soon.

•       Other opportunities we have in store for you are “2011-2012 Chinese Headteacher Reciprocal Visit” and “Joint Curriculum Project”. The Connecting Classrooms team is committed to supporting you as you continue to build your international partnerships.
