The Country Partnership meeting was held in Birkbeck, University of London. 25 representatives of partner institutions have joined the meeting. The agenda of the meeting includes:
1. Market information updates, including:
- Visa outsourcing
- Visa statistics mid-year break down in comparison with the year 2005 and conclusions
- Student decision making, survey results from the Education UK exhibition 2006
- British Council Thailand’s education marketing strategy for all sectors; including draft market intelligence plan, Competitors information
2. Case study of marketing (Links & Collaboration) in Thailand by a guest speaker (one of partner institutions) for HE sector
3. Competition update, marketing tactics from e.g. Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the US and EU countries
4. Workshop – marketing response from UK partners
