The Partnership regional meetings aim to update members of the Partnership on the progress, priorities and upcoming plans for the Partnership. Members of the Partnership have the opportunity to provide input, as well as find out about opportunities and resources available.
This year, delegates were invited to discuss the implications of the global economic downturn and the measures institutions are putting in place to deal with these.
Delegates were asked to consider:
What are the real and potential challenges your institution is facing and what are you doing differently as a result? |
Is it all bad, or are you seeing a bumper year in applications, as people turn to education while weathering the storm? Is the UK becoming a more attractive study destination as it becomes a more affordable option? |
The regional meetings also provided a good opportunity to:
network with institutions and representatives from other British Council teams involved with education so that delegates can find out about other support and opportunities available to them |
find out more about UK education marketing and communications via an update on current projects to raise the profile of Education UK. |
All the regional meetings followed the same agenda.
