Education Market Intelligence workshops
12 and 16 May 2008

We held two one-day workshops, in Manchester on 12 May 2008 and in London on 16 May 2008, to introduce four new education market intelligence projects for 2008:

Forecasting international student mobility*
Student decision making*
An intelligence report into student mobility in East Asia
Institutions self reporting international student data

*These new market intelligence tools were officially launched at an invitation-only event, hosted by the British Council's Chief Executive, Martin Davidson, on 15 May 2008.

Both the workshops followed the same format, and were split into a morning session, comprising introductory presentations on each new research project, and an afternoon practical workshop, giving hands-on training on the student decision making data mining tool.
