Key details

Date Location Participation fee for Partnership members Participation fee for all other institutions Maximum number of participants
20 to 21 October 2007 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam GBP 1,035 GBP 2,070 57
23 October 2007 Hanoi, Vietnam GBP 995 GBP 1,990 56
25 October 2007 Danang, Vietnam GBP 640 GBP 1,280 20

Please note that, as in previous years, the venue in Ho Chi Minh City will be the Equatorial Hotel, which will mean that the exhibition will be split between the main hall, which can facilitate 46 stands, and a side room, which will hold an additional 11 stands. Whilst we recognise that this situation is not ideal, it is currently the best option available. We have looked into the possibility of using alternative venues and these are simply not practical from a visitors' point of view and are also considerably more expensive. Allocation to the main hall will be done, as usual, on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given in the following order:

  • Vietnam Partnership members
  • All other Partnership members
  • Eligible non-Partnership members

Once we have filled the quota of 46 stands in the main hall, applicants will then be placed in the side room. Your location will be clearly communicated in your acceptance e-mail and followed with a detailed floor plan, no later than 13 July 2007.

The participation fee includes:

  • venue hire at hotels;
  • wall partition system with a fascia board at the back;
  • one fluorescent tube light and one power socket (13amp, 220V);
  • one 1.8 metres by 0.8 metres information table and four chairs for exhibitors;
  • PR campaign in newspapers, magazines, television and e-bulletin, at schools and universities;
  • advertising campaign in newspapers, magazines, and websites;
  • promotional items (invitations, street banners, flyers, posters, and gifts for visitors) and publications (pre-university guide and postgraduate guide);
  • exhibition directory with advertising space for each exhibitor;
  • hire of interpreters / stand assistants;
  • refreshments;
  • other administration and stationery fees.

Stand sharing is available at a premium of 20 per cent on the cost of participation.

Please note that the participation fee does not include international or domestic travel, accommodation, subsistence or freight, except where stated.
