As for the Education UK Exhibition held in November 2005, the British Council has secured the ballroom and a further side room at the Equatorial Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. These combined spaces can accommodate up to 62 stands: 50 in the main ballroom and 12 in the side room. Whilst the British Council recognises that this is not ideal, other hotel options were considered at length, but it was decided that they were simply not viable, either due to cost or space constraints.

At a recent Education UK Country Partnership meeting for Vietnam, which was attended by 28 representatives, it was decided that the main priority was to accommodate as many institutions as possible. With this in mind, we have had to reach the best compromise, which is to facilitate 50 stands in the main ballroom and 12 additional stands in the side room. Spaces for the Main exhibition hall will be allocation on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given in the following order:

  • Country Partnership member institutions
  • Education UK Partnership member institutions
  • All other eligible institutions

Please be reassured that both exhibition spaces will be clearly marked and signposted so ensure visitors access all stands.
