According to the latest HESA figures on Taiwan, creative arts and design had the most significant growth rate amongst all subject areas. Feedback from institutions and local agencies has also showed that student interests in this area have continued to increase over the last couple of years. In order to further capture student interests as well as to add extra flavour to the exhibition, we are now planning a Creative UK alumni exhibition to take place during the Education UK Exhibition, to showcase UK alumni's artwork and their creativity cultivated by UK education. We will soon contact UK alumni in Taiwan regarding this exciting activity and we would like to encourage UK institutions to help circulate information to their alumni, whose participation in this activity would bring institutions additional exposure. Full details will follow in June 2009 and your support of this activity would be most appreciated. Meanwhile, if you have any suggestions and feedback, please feel free to send them to taiwan.scheme@britishcouncil.org.tw.
