International Higher Education Exhibition, Saudi Arabia
26 to 29 January 2010

Update 10 November 2009:
Unfortunately, the British Pavilion at the IEHE Exhibition has now reached capacity and no more applications from UK institutions will be accepted at this time. If you wish, you can request to be placed on the waiting list for the exhibition – to do so, please contact the Riyadh Exhibitions Company.

On 26 to 29 January 2010, the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) in Saudi Arabia is holding an international higher education exhibition in Riyadh which will be open to UK institutions. Subsequently, they have disallowed all local private education exhibitions. This means that, for the foreseeable future, the British Council will be unable to hold its own Education UK exhibitions in Saudi Arabia.

As a result of this development, the British Council in Saudi Arabia has agreed to collaborate with the MoHE to assist in the recruitment of UK institutions to their exhibition.

The exhibition will be open to all UK institutions, not just higher education institutions, as previously thought.

The exhibition will be organised by Riyadh Exhibitions Company on behalf of the MoHE. It will take place at the Riyadh International Exhibition Centre. All UK institutions will be located together within a UK pavilion. Both male and female delegates are welcome to attend the exhibition. The MoHE has requested for there to be no agents present at the exhibition.

The exhibition will include a number of wrap-around activities organised by the MoHE, which will include presentations, forums and networking opportunities with local institutions.

For more details, see the Download PDF Document invitation letter (238KB) and Download PDF Document brochure (2.36MB).

Cost
Pricing for the exhibition is as follows:

  • Option 2 - inside space only: US$320 per square metre (minimum space: 21 square meters)
