Update 12 December 2008: Although the deadline for applications has now passed, expressions of interest to participate in this event are still welcome.
This year’s exhibition is part of a bigger event called ACCESS: The English Language Conference and Education Exhibition. On the same dates as the exhibition, the British Council will be hosting 500 English Language professionals and academics at an international conference to discuss issues about English Language Teaching. Experts from Asia and Europe will hold plenary sessions, and we are expecting about 50 international participants.

This year, we have set a target to reduce our overall exhibition costs by 12 per cent. Unfortunately, in comparison to the February 2007 Exhibition, we have not reached this target. This is due to the cost of venues increasing dramatically over the last two years in the Philippines, as well as more equipment being required for this exhibition, to enable the effective use of the visitor registration system.
The participation fees stated above incorporate a 'credit crunch' contingency and are the maximum that participants will be charged. If this additional contingency is not called upon, participants will be invoiced for less than the maximum fee.
In addition to the generic aims of all Education UK Exhibitions, the aims of this event are to:
- increase the profile of UK educational institutions in the Philippines
- assist participants in the development of institutional contacts and links with Philippines, both for first-time visitors to the country and for those participants who have market experience
- provide UK institutions with the opportunity to promote their institution and range of courses
- shape perceptions of the UK as a study destination, through the Education UK brand – promoting an image of the UK and education which is contemporary, multi-cultural, safe and value for money.
