Education UK exhibition Nepal
22 to 23 February 2008

After successful completion of the Education UK Exhibition held in February 2007 in Nepal, Career Search is organising on behalf of the British Council an Education UK Exhibition in Kathmandu, Nepal, for the second time. The proposed dates are 22 to 23 February 2008 and will follow on from the Education UK Exhibition in Bangladesh, which concludes on 19 February 2008 in Chittagong.

After an in-depth survey, we have determined that September being the major intake for most institutions, the preferable time for the promotion is felt to be February, thereby giving ample time to students to make their decision. Nepal is a new potential market for student recruitment. The growing demand for overseas education is becoming more apparent as many Nepalese students pursue further / higher education, and those who already have qualifications want to upgrade or update them. One of the popular education destinations is the UK.

The event is aimed to promote UK education and bring together representatives of colleges and universities, prospective students, parents and guardians, thereby creating a platform for interaction and discussion. The visitors will have access to first-hand and unbiased information regarding the institutions.

Potential visitors to the fair include young and mature students, professionals, school / university agents, and representatives of public and private sector organisations.

The number of stalls available is limited, so you are requested to book your space as early as possible.

The participation fee is USD 1,100 and includes:

  • airport pickup and drop off;
  • accommodation for three nights in a five star hotel (one single superior or one double superior);
