Education UK Exhibition Malaysia
14 to 15 November 2009

This event has now taken place. An event report will be made available at a later date.

Key details

Date Location Participation fee for Partnership members Participation fee for all other institutions Maximum number of participants
14 to 15 November 2009 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia GBP 2,786 GBP 5,572 60

The participation fee includes:

  • venue hire, three snack items, premium tea / coffee
  • three metres by three metres stand; overhead fascia panel with stand numbers; information desk; lockable cabinet; two folding chairs; two easy chairs and a coffee table; two fluorescent tube lights; two 100 watt spot lights; 13 amp single phase socket; exhibitors can request an additional two folding chairs if necessary at no added cost
  • PR campaign: advertisements will be placed in national edition newspapers, major websites, billboards and street banners; posters will be printed and distributed to customers / colleges / universities / selected professional bodies
  • market briefing prior to the start of the exhibition
  • negotiated hotel rates with British Council recommended hotels.

Stand sharing is available at a premium of 20 per cent on the cost of participation.

Please note that the participation fee does not include international or domestic travel, accommodation, subsistence or freight, except where stated.

The participation fees stated above incorporate a 'credit crunch' contingency and are the maximum that participants will be charged. If this additional contingency is not called upon, participants will be invoiced for less than the maximum fee.

Due to the current economic climate and the additional credit crunch contingency, we have been unable to reduce our exhibition costs compared to 2008 (Partnership members: GBP 2,675; all other institutions: GBP 5,350). We have, however, ensured that all costs have been kept to a minimum whilst maintaining the standards and expectations of an Education UK exhibition.
