The participation fee includes:

  • venue hire;
  • booth: 3 metres by 2 metres stand with white panels (100 cm by 25cm), six spot lights and open grid ceiling, a table with two chairs and wiring for computers;
  • PR campaign:
    • announcement on the British Council Kuwait website six weeks before the exhibition;
    • exhibition announcement through partners’ websites;
    • press conference one or two days before the exhibition;
    • advertisement in local English and Arabic newspapers;
    • one full coloured page in the Dispatch Magazine;
    • two hours radio sponsorship in Arabic and English;
    • two posters to be displayed at the British Council premises;
    • 600 posters and 15,000 EDUKEX flyers and 2,000 exhibition guidebooks to be distributed to our T1s, T2s and T3s contacts;
    • 100 Education UK branded T-shirts to be worn by British Council staff one week before, and during the exhibition;
    • display of two ‘EDUKEX coming soon’ flyers at the British Council premises eight weeks before the exhibition;
    • television interview with the British Council Director two days before the exhibition;
    • distribution of branded promotional items, such as note books and pens, to visitors during the exhibition;
    • flyers to be distributed to local schools.

Stand sharing is available at a premium of 20 per cent on the cost of participation.

Please note that the participation fee does not include international or domestic travel, accommodation, subsistence or freight, except where stated.

Visa requirements
Visas are required for UK passport holders. These can be obtained on arrival. Alternatively, the Sheraton Hotel can arrange visas for you if notified two weeks before the event at the time of booking. Other passport holders should check with their travel agent or contact the Consulate or Embassy of the country they plan to visit.


Freight
The deadlines for freight collection by our recommended freight handler are:

  • Air freight: 9 November 2007

Sea freight is not available for this event.

The participation fee does not include freight costs and these are the responsibility of the participating institution.
