The participation fees stated above incorporate a 'credit crunch' contingency and are the maximum that participants will be charged. If this additional contingency is not called upon, participants will be invoiced for less than the maximum fee.
Due to the current economic climate and the additional credit crunch contingency, we have been unable to reduce our exhibition costs compared to the previous exhibition. These charts (11KB GIF image) show the cost breakdown for the exhibition in November 2008 compared to this exhibition and demonstrate a slight increase of 6.3 per cent. We have ensured that all costs have been kept to a minimum whilst maintaining the standards and expectations of an Education UK exhibition.
Specifically the following key subject areas:
- English language
- GCSE, A-levels and equivalents
- Access and foundation
- Applied and pure sciences
- Built and natural environment
- Computing, mathematics and IT
- Engineering and technology
- Health and medicine
- Humanities
- Law
- Management, business and finance
- Social sciences and communications
- Sport, leisure, hospitality and tourism
- Visual and creative arts
- Learning at a distance

Note :The Education UK Exhibition in Korea attracts potential students who have already done some background / basic research about study in the UK and about specific institutions. They have specific and targeted information needs and seek to get a ‘sense’ of the institution they wish to commit to. We have relatively few ‘window-shoppers’ who are looking for introductory information about institutions. Where possible, this is an ideal market for representation by academic staff in the main subject areas, as well as international office staff.
