The participation fee includes:

  • standard table (0.45m by 1.8m), and six chairs (three for institution representatives, three for visitors), each participant has a space 2.4m wide, including the table;
    • Tokyo: the back panel is 2.1m high by 1.8m wide;
    • Osaka: there is no back panel, but there is space for small freestanding banners;
  • additional room and equipment hire;
  • advertising and publicity;
  • breakfast meeting;
  • hire of temporary staff and interpreters;
  • travel from the breakfast meeting to British Council Tokyo;
  • freight between British Council Tokyo and British Council Osaka.

Stand sharing is available at a premium of 20 per cent on the cost of participation.

Please note that the participation fee does not include international or domestic travel, accommodation, subsistence or freight, except where stated.

EFL Brochure Exhibitions will be held at the Tokyo and Osaka venues of these Education UK Days events. The Brochure Exhibitions are open to all Education UK Partnership members and UK institutions with EFL programmes accredited by the British Council Accreditation UK scheme and are free-of-charge to participate in.


Target markets

  • postgraduate studies (one year Masters), especially in the humanities, social science and creative arts fields;
  • MBA programmes;
  • one year study abroad programmes;
  • foundation courses leading to undergraduate admission, especially in the humanities, social science and creative arts fields;
  • art and design - art foundation;
  • EFL and EFL combined with vocational studies;
  • small market for independent secondary education.

Visa requirements
Visas are not required for UK passport holders. Other passport holders should check with their travel agent or contact the Consulate or Embassy of the country they plan to visit.


Freight
The deadlines for freight collection by our recommended freight handler are:

  • Sea freight: 25 January 2008
  • Air freight: 29 February 2008

The participation fee does not include freight costs and these are the responsibility of the participating institution.
