The participation fee includes:

  • venue hire
  • four square metres stand, fascia board, table, two chairs, three focus lights, one electrical socket
  • PR campaign, advertising on the web, advertising in print, visits to educational institutions for promotional activity
  • market briefing, reception in Mumbai, stand assistants.

Stand sharing will be made available at a premium of twenty per cent on the stand costs.

Please note that the participation fee does not include international or domestic travel, accommodation, subsistence or freight, except where stated.

British Council India will negotiate discounted rates in local hotels whereever possible. Please note that hotel rates are particularly high in India in most cities, due to heavy demand. It is recommended that you book in time and ensure that you receive confirmation of the booking. A travel agent will be recommended for domestic travel.

It is strongly advised that institutions send representatives from the UK to staff their stands rather than using local agents only, since students expect to meet UK representatives and not agents, who they can meet anytime.

The participation fees stated above incorporate a 'credit crunch' contingency and are the maximum that participants will be charged. If this additional contingency is not called upon, participants will be invoiced for less than the maximum fee.
