UK Schools Information Day, Hong Kong
17 October 2009

An Download PDF Document event report (1.05MB) [Education UK Partnership password required] is available

This event is designed to be an information fair for parents and students to explore education opportunities at UK boarding schools and colleges.

The event will give participating UK boarding schools the opportunity to:

  • meet students and parents interested in a UK boarding school education
  • gather valuable market intelligence regarding the local market.

The event has been developed in response to positive feedback received from participating schools and visitors from past information days (the event in October 2008 attracted 15 institutions and an audience of more than 500) and the trend for earlier entry into the UK education system evident in the Hong Kong market.

In addition, it is well-timed to capture the advantages presented by the current macro-economic situation: the fall in value of sterling which makes UK education even better value for money; and that it is more important than ever for parents to invest in quality education for their children. Interest is further supported by the strong reputation for quality education that the UK enjoys in Hong Kong. These information days now form part of the wider schools services offered within the Education UK Partnership.
