The participation fee includes:
- venue hire
- one or two tables (1.83 by 0.76 metres) and four chairs (there will be no ‘shell’ or booth; you are strongly advised to bring a display unit, as the sticking of posters on wall or pillars will not be possible); electric sockets will be available upon request
- promotion of the exhibition via a paid advertising campaign with outdoor billboards, radio, newspapers, and the Internet will be complemented by A3 posters, postcards and press releases
- refreshments for delegates.
Stand sharing will be made available at a premium of twenty per cent on the stand costs.
Please note that the participation fee does not include international or domestic travel, accommodation, subsistence or freight, except where stated.
There has been a significant increase in participation fees in Greece. The global economic climate has meant that budgets are a lot more constrained and sponsorship income has not been secured at the same level as in previous exhibitions. The value of the Pound against the Euro has also fallen considerably since the exhibition in March 2009, which has had an impact on the final cost.
- We aim to have a total of 7,500 visitors in both Athens and Thessaloniki.
- We are planning visits to Greek universities and high schools to promote the event.
- There will be a fully integrated pre-exhibition advertising campaign to reach our primary and secondary target audience. This will include:
- advertisements placed in major free press, high circulation newspapers
- posters and postcards delivered to targeted schools, colleges, universities and to general public at metro stations
- radio spots aired from five main radio stations
- Internet and social media, such as Facebook, will also be employed to carry our promotional message.
