- venue hire
- lights, sockets, two tables and four chairs for each venue
- PR campaign: press conference, advertising on television, radio, newspapers, street banners, flyers, posters
- marketing briefing, reception, institutional/school/agent visits, stand assistants, refreshments
- British Council Ghana will negotiate discounted rates in local hotels whereever possible
- airport transfers and local transport
- promotional items including booklets for visitors, T-shirts, pens, pull-up banners and branded notepads.
Stand sharing is available at a premium of 20 per cent on the cost of participation.
Please note that the participation fee does not include international or domestic travel, accommodation, subsistence or freight, except where stated.
The participation fees stated above incorporate a 'credit crunch' contingency and are the maximum that participants will be charged. If this additional contingency is not called upon, participants will be invoiced for less than the maximum fee.
Exhibition fees have risen in comparison to last year's exhibition. This is due to two major increases in fuel prices in 2009 which have affected costs in Ghana in their totality.
In order to reduce costs in the current economic climate, a table and chair format has been introduced for the exhibitions. Delegates are therefore advised to bring along pull up banners to display.
It is strongly advised that institutions send representatives from the UK to staff their stands rather than using local agents only, since students expect to meet UK representatives and not agents, who they can meet anytime.

Alumni and agents event This event will be held at the British Council Ghana Director's residence. The main objective is to provide a platform for agents and alumni to engage with UK institutions.
Delegate feedback from last year indicated that an alumni network played an important role in their recruitment activities. Most aspiring students rely on the experience of past students when making choices regarding their education. Active participation of alumni in the event will provide a platform for institutions to establish and strengthen an alumni network in order to facilitate their work in Ghana.
British Council Ghana request that all institutions send details of their alumni to Angelina Diyuoh by 15 January 2010 to enable them to send out invitations on time to make this year's alumni reception a success.
