Due to the low number of applications, this event has been cancelled. If you would like to visit Cyprus around August time to carry out recruitment activities the British Council Cyprus will be happy to provide discounted rates on both advertising on the British Council website and the hiring out of their facilities in Nicosia to meet with potential students. The participation fee includes:

  • venue hire
  • table, 1.8 metres by 0.76 metres, with a tablecloth and three chairs
  • power sockets upon request
  • free Wi-Fi access
  • PR campaign: advertising on website, radio, newspapers, web banners, flyers all over Cyprus
  • water and coffee
  • discounted hotel rates.

Stand sharing will be made available at a premium of twenty per cent on the stand costs.

Please note that the participation fee does not include international or domestic travel, accommodation, subsistence or freight, except where stated.

Following negotiation with the exhibition venue, we have been able to reduce the participation fee compared to last year’s Clearing Mission. We have also managed to negotiate competitive accommodation rates at the Kanika Hotel, where the exhibition is taking place.

Visas are not required for UK passport holders. Other passport holders should check with their travel agent or contact the Consulate or Embassy of the country they plan to visit.


Freight

The participation fee does not include freight costs and these are the responsibility of the participating institution.


Cancellation
Cancellation fees will be charged for withdrawal from this event, as of the date of receipt of notice of withdrawal:

  • 50 per cent of the full event cost for withdrawals received on or after 10 June 2010
  • 100 per cent of the full event cost for withdrawals received on or after 8 July 2010

Notice of cancellation must be given by e-mail to educationuk.events@britishcouncil.org. You will receive a confirmation message within one week of your cancellation.

Although the deadline for applications has now passed, expressions of interest to participate in this event are still welcome.
