This Exhibition consisted of:

  • Shanghai Postgraduate Information Day: to provide information and opportunities for students who wish to study postgraduate courses in the UK
  • Guangzhou Education UK Exhibition: to provide information and opportunities for students who wish to study courses at various levels (pre-university, undergraduate and postgraduate) in the UK

Wrap-around activities at the exhibition included the Annual Alumni Dinner and meetings with HE representatives in China before the exhibition.

Please note that a national Chinese partner was not involved in this exhibition - this was an exclusive Education UK only Exhibition.

This Exhibition was followed by the Hong Kong exhibition on 10 to 11 February 2007. We participated with a national Chinese partner for the exhibitions which will be held in Beijing, Chongqing and Wuhan from 3 to 10 March 2007.

The participation fee includes:

  • Guangzhou:
    • standard 2 metres by 3 metres booth;
    • promotional activities such as presentations, media gatherings, direct advertisements in the local media (print media, websites, radio and television) and underground stations, local institutions, production of promotional material.
  • Shanghai:
    • stand with a back partition wall with fascia;
    • promotional activities such as presentations, media gatherings, direct advertisements and editorials in the local media (print media, websites), local institutions, and through IELTS test reports / test centres (in Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Hefei), major HR websites, agents, alumni network, You Post supplementary and production of promotional collateral.

Stand sharing is available at a premium of 20 per cent on the cost of participation.

Please note that the participation fee does not include international or domestic travel, accommodation, subsistence or freight, except where stated.

Visa requirements
Visas are required for UK passport holders. Other passport holders should check with their travel agent or contact the Consulate or Embassy of the country they plan to visit.


Freight
The deadlines for freight collection by our recommended freight handler are:

  • Sea freight: 24 November 2006
  • Air freight: 22 December 2006

The participation fee does not include freight costs and these are the responsibility of the participating institution.
