Brochure / poster exhibition
This year, British Council Chile and Argentina will be offering a brochure / poster exhibition as well as the main event. The brochure / poster model is designed to enable those that have already been operating in the market to enhance their profile and for new-comers to the market to test the market potential before investing in a more expensive promotional visit.

This Brochure / Poster Display Exhibition offers UK institutions an extremely low cost promotional opportunity in both Chile and Argentina, without the necessity to send a representative to the exhibition. British Council staff will oversee the institutions' displays and collect student registration details to forward to the participating institutions. The cost is therefore for an exclusive promotional display space at each venue only. However, institutions are welcome to send a representative to any of the events at their own additional cost. At previous events, institutions have made effective use of alumni and or exchange students in country to assist in raising their profile at the events.

The participation fee for the brochure / poster exhibition is:

  • Education UK Partnership members: GBP 300
  • All other institutions: GBP 600

The participation fee includes:

  • venue hire;
  • 1.5 metres by 2 metres stand, facia board, table, two chairs, lights, counter, brochure display shelves;
  • PR campaign: radio advertisement (Radio Bío-Bío) covering a wide range of Chilean cities; newspaper advertisements and interviews from 25 September to 2 October 2007; street banners, flyers and posters distributed at universities and companies; EuroPosgrados website; pop-ups on British Council website as well as on all participating countries’ websites, along with two Chilean Government agencies: CONICYT (Chilean National Commission for Science and Technology) and MIDEPLAN (Ministry of Planning), in charge of government funds for scholarships for Chileans to study abroad at postgraduate level;
